My name is Elsie Lam.
My part of London where my heart is.
My earliest musical memory of London “London Bridge is falling down” in kindergarten.
The moment I realised I could sing was humming along practising piano when I was four.
When I am not at a Snapshot Songs rehearsal you will mostly find me at a food market or an art gallery.
A song that changes the way I’m feeling no matter where I am when it comes on is Groove is in the Heart by Dee Lite.
If I could only listen to one song for the rest of my life it would have to be Never Enough by Boris Dlugosch/Moloko featuring Roisín Murphy.
A typical thing you might hear me say “Eh?” because I am Canadian eh?!
One word I would use to describe the Snapshot Songs choir is fun!
